Everest or Rubber B?

I was searching for rubber straps for my watches and came across Rubber B and Everest. Is there any quality difference between the two? Is there any metal insert like that of Rolex oysterflex? What’s the durability of vulcanized rubber? What is warranty for each? Thanks.

Recently got a RubberB for my SD43 and love it! Got the one to use with the glidelock so the fit is perfect. Too soon to comment on durability and I'm sure you can find warranty info on their sites.

You may find one fits your wrist better than the other. Everest comes straight out from the lugs more while RubberB angles down more from the lugs.

I got an Etsy one for my Tudor. $40 bucks and has a deployment clasp similar to the Tudor one that comes on leather straps. Two summers working construction and playing in salt water and no complaints.

I checked out Everest and Rubber B at local ADs. They are nice, but didn’t feel like my rubber strap needed to be “luxury.”

It depends on what your want! Everest works better if adding a Glidelock as Rubber B only makes of the existing buckle where as the Everest can work with either full with strap contact of narrowed like on the Glidelock.

I have both and prefer the Everest bc it has more buckle holes on the strap than Rubber B. With the Rubber B it was either too big or too tight on the adjustments holes. It was spaced out more and less holes.

Rubber B provides a choice between buckle or the existing Glidelock clasp.

Seriously thinking about picking this up for my JC DSSD.

These don’t have the Ti inserts like the Oysterflex

Rubber B has more of a matt finish while Everest is more shiny.
I chose Rubber B because of it.
Quality is great, all natural rubber made in Switzerland.

Buy both to compare finish and quality and return the one you don’t want.

Rubber B work way better for me.
Everest has too much flare and causes the strap to stick way out and not follow the contour of my wrist.

For my Tudor GMT I bought Everest, Rubber B and finally Vanguard.

Everest doesn’t suit wrists less than 7 inches - it flares out too much from the wrist. A bit too chunky and no tapering either. Will sell.

Rubber B is lovely but a bit too dainty for the Tudor’s masculinity. Will keep it though as plan to get Tudor Harrods and will fit it to that one.

Vanguard, very similar to Rubber B design but appropriately masculine (i.e. thicker) with a matt, untextured finish. The blue was more of a powder blue which I particularly liked. Had to change for new curved spring bars to avoid a gap appearing between the strap and case but once that was resolved, I had an absolute and clear winner.

Vanguard it is!

I bought a new Rubber B red strap for my Rolex GMT Master II 16710 and found the color very greyish and spotty. There were speck of grey inside the rubber, so I emailed corporate headquarters in Switzerland and sent multiple pictures as they requested. After all that hassle, they refused to exchange the strap. I have been in 2 other authorized dealers and found each Rubber B Rolex red strap a slightly different shade.

I contacted Everest and their customer service quickly sent me photos of their Rolex straps. So I went to a local dealer and ordered a blue Everest for my Rolex.

I own both and prefer Rubber B because, as many have said, it comes straight down off the case/lugs and doesn’t flair out like the Everest. I also prefer the taper on the Rubber B.

I don't know if they is still accurate with the current everest straps as mine are a few years old. But they are compatible with the same size lug width watches. You can use the same strap for a submariner, daytona, gmt for example.

Rubber B is model specific, I can't fit a Submariner strap into a GMT.

Not if you're switching clasps. For example the Milgauss strap can't be purchased to fit a Glidelock. If you're steady handed you might be able to carve it to fit. If you screw up it's a pricy mistake.

Vanguard beats them all on price basis but unfortunately they don’t have a band for my 21mm lug space Exp2.

I have a RubberB for my GMT LN. have had it your several years and it’s been great. Can’t speak to the Everest, but I don’t think you can go wrong with the RB.

Everest or Rubber B?

Regarding rubber, I’ve had both and I like RubberB better. Fit is better, finish is better, imho

Vanguard only provides for buckle straps and not for OEM clasps.

Thats because all of those companies who copy Rubber B stuff don't give a crap about the details. They provide one strap reference for all 20mm Rolex models, but the look is not great. On some watches there is a gap, on others the strap sits low below the lug level. Its all really Micky-Mouse shite. Thats why Everest and the like have to provide spring bars with their straps and Rubber B does not. Because the RB straps are made specifically for the one watch to fit fantastically. Its a luxury way of doing things versus the wannabe way of vanguard, Everest, and the others. LOL
