What a disastrous week ended up great

Come home from 4th July holiday and my 5 month old Samsung fridge had died while gone. Everything melted spoiled. Back n forth w Samsung to refund me $ for a week. Don’t want repairs or new replacement. Search for new fridge have one delivered Thursday. Glass Shelves were broken and luckily I asked to check the fridge on truck. Have to run and order another one that comes Friday. Luckily it is delivered fine.

Go to friends Bay house to fishing. Motor not pushing water and not cooling. Tear down lower and replace impeller and clean out sand/ mud. Out on bay and get a text AD. Can’t go get watch since I’m middle bay trying to fish. Waves 3-4ft from Front coming in later. Capt doesn’t want to drop me off so ask to hold watch. Get back to AD yesterday and love it in person. Looks better than in pictures.

To me, the sky-dweller is one of Rolex's coolest watches. Big congrats on the pickup!

I’m hoping the same happens to me this week, as the past four days have been nothing short of a disaster. Should be getting the call from my AD any day now.

First off, your vintage Pepsi looks great!!! and the TT Skydweller, white dial is very clean looking but the jubilee bracelet sends it over the top for me. I love this watch but it’s just too big for my wrist. Love the mechanics of this watch! Enjoy!!… and thanks for sharing your story!

On the bright side, you went on vacation for the 4th of July and went fishing when you got back. Oh, and picked up a skydweller. Is your glass half full or half empty?? Lol

I always try to look at the positive side of things. But what a nightmare it was to come home and fridge freezer 78 degrees inside stinking.

I’m still fighting Samsung w the food spoilage reimbursement. Had freezer full of steaks, seafood, and ice cream . 5 month old fridge needed a new compressor, inverter board and defroster.

Skydweller really made up for it all!!! Big smile on my face

Congrats! A good way to make up for the week.

I have Samsung appliances as well and have certainly been less than impressed.

Congratulations.

I have that model and it's going onto a Jubilee bracelet the first chance I get.

Fantastic watch.

Samsung and Fridge don’t belong in the same sentence.
Samsung actually doesn’t belong anywhere.
You learned the lesson the hard way, unfortunately.

If only Rolex made appliances…!
