Authenticity Check. Rolex Exp II

Won an auction on Ebay for this explorer ii for 3450. No box/papers. Can you please let me know if this watch is authentic? I am new to collecting rolexes and I can not verify. Thanks!

Won an auction on eBay not even sure it's real? Kinda risky no? It's roughed up pretty good. Hope you didn't pay too much for it.

It would be nice to see the engravings and movement. However from what I can see no alarms are ringing here

Authenticity Check. Rolex Exp II

That's not an unrealistic price.

Someone else I'm sure will chime in with authenticity.

To me it looks ok, but I'm still new to the game.

What is the sellers rating? How many items does he have feedback on?

Not really. Another one actually sold for the same price today from an authentic shop on ebay.

I don't think its unrealistic. Another one sold for some price from a jewelry store.

On the subject of reading, when you get a notice saying your post is "awaiting moderation", it means just that. Please don't keep resubmitting the post.

Out of curiosity, where'd you write that you haven't paid yet?

Still don't see it. And I don't know anything about these watches so I'm no help...I'm sure everything will work out as it should, though.

I've never understood this. You come to someone, with hat in hand, saying you aren't an expert, and ask for help. And when help is offered or a request for clarification is made, you turn around and go off the deep end. What is wrong with people???

I am new? Meaning this is your first. And you haven't even got it yet? Can't really call it 'collecting' Rolexes then, can we?

Thanks for having my back gents!

I wasn't trying to be a jerk. I just figured not knowing authenticity and throwing down money was risky.

It's authentic. Do you know what year and/or serial it has? It has a Swiss Made dial, is it never than 2000?

It is shameful to commit to buy and then investigate whether one should commit. This is behavior that makes ebay a poor place to sell.

Just look at the hand stack, should be easy enough to tell if it's authentic
