Just curious

Do Rolex ADs communicate with each other? If a customer wishes to buy a GMTII with a black/red bezel at a particular AD, and it is unavailable there. Will this particular AD assist the customer to find his watch by disseminating the "want" within the Rolex AD network all over the world to locate one.

The last time I wanted a part for my car, I must have received offers from at least 20 different dealers all over the nation.

Rolex AD's do not usually communicate with each other in order to find a consumer a watch. Some may go the extra mile to locate a watch for you and send you to another store which has the watch, but it's not likely. If you went to your local AD even if they do not have the watch in stock, they should be able to order it for you.

Thanks for your info, I was just curious as how the Rolex AD network functions. Obviously it is NOT working as well as auto parts dealer network does. Once I put in an order, 20 different dealers all over the country responded.
