Tried on a Superocean 42 - Impressed!

Tried this Superocean Automatic 42 on during a recent cruise. I have to say I was extremely impressed. The size was perfect for my 7.5" wrist. I was surprised how thin and comfortable it is. It's very comfortable on the wrist and sits nice and flat. I also liked the bracelet even with the funky angled links. Again, very comfortable. And on top of everything it is priced at an easy to digest $4,850. They offered me 15% off and I nearly pulled the trigger. Anyone else have experience with this watch? Good or bad? I think I would have to get both the bracelet and black rubber strap on this one. My only disappointment is they don't offer the 42 in green. Not sure why.

It's on billboards all over LA! I've seen a few favorable reviews too. The price was the surprise but I suppose all boats rise with the tides. That said, it's a Great looking watch! Still prefer the Tudor Pelagos, which I have tried on, but just a by a hair.

That's funny that you mention the price. To me it seemed like a good price. But it sounds like it used to be more affordable?

I thought I would hate that block minute hand but one the wrist I sort of liked it.

Breitling left the low budge movement and added PCL’s . Not sure this is the right direction for the Superocean .

Very cool watch. I prefer it on the rubber strap and in 46mm. Hard to go wrong with this watch and it is at a very competitive price point.

I like the PCL's a lot, but yeah I'm bummed about the movement, and the 38 hour power reserve is a big miss.
