Finally a patek owner!!!!

Received a call from.my ad and am a proud owner of a steel bracelet aquanaut!!

Only issue was that i was made to purchase an iwc perpetual portugeiser at the same time.....but at least it took me just 2 months to from wait list to wrist!

Does anyone know where i can source a rubber strap? Takes 4 months to order here and am.being charged way too much for it.

Thanks!!!!

Will post photos soon!!

Congrats !
4 months for the strap / deployment is reasonable at this time and you prob won’t find it cheaper than through your AD given these crazy times

Save yourself some money and wear it on the bracelet. The Nautilus bracelet and clasp are the best that Patek makes and is superior to pretty much anything else on the market. At one time I had both and eventually sold the 5167a in favor of the 5167/1a.

You're lucky. I would have jumped on the opportunity. I had an IWC perpetual years ago and loved it. Elegant.

In general i love IWC even though each time i bought one and traded i lost a LOT.

Congratulations.

That is really true and sad for most brands not called Patek or Rolex (and maybe AP).
There are so many great watches that lose value: Breguet, Blancpain, ALS, IWC….makes me sad.
But in the same time it makes me hold on to Patek even more because they protect their brand and collectors

So i didn't update this thread because my ad did me dirty.. right before i was going to wire payment ( i was abroad) they call me to say that the owner of the dealership is taking the watch for someone else. And since then my SA has stopped returning my messages.

That’s horrible man. I would definitely have words with that owner. Somehow when it was over he would regret what he did.

So sorry to hear this. That’s disgusting. This “dealer” needs to be shamed for their lack of integrity and morals.
