Is it possible to order a jubilee bracelet for a 16710 through an AD

Hey,

I've got a 16710 F Serial from around 2005 that I'm looking to go full customization mode on (All 3 bezel inserts, and both bracelet styles). It's my understanding that the watch was available with a jubilee bracelet.

I think historically ADs may have been able to order replacement bracelets, but I'm not sure if that's the case anymore. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I could source a jubilee bracelet for this watch, or will this be something I have to buy aftermarket on eBay or through a seller?

Looks up user “frakis”, he might be able to source what you need (you’re going to pay market price).

Interesting. I asked my AD to order me a jubilee for my sky dweller that came with oyster, and they told me Rolex said it couldn’t be ordered.

The 16710 is no longer in production. That may make a difference in purchasing a jubilee bracelet for it since it was available with either oyster or jubilee.

16710 Bracelets: Oyster 78360 and 78790 (Oysterlock) or Jubilee 62510.

The Jubilee for the 16710 (GMT Master II) is the 62510H using 50 end links. You can get the 62510H from Europe (new or used) but they can be expensive and they don't always come with the 50 end links. Some only have the 55 end links, which won't work for your GMT. (why? I don't know). I consider doing this but realized I didn't want to go through the pain for a bracelet only I can notice. Happy with the oyster anyways.

A few months ago I visited RSC NYC and asked for the same thing: no go. They will only exchange for what was originally issued with the SD ~ in my case, the Oyster.

I visited the Beverly Hills RSC a few months ago when I got my 16710 and they sold me a jubilee bracelet without any issues. Though I did take the oyster off before I went and just had it on a nato. I wonder if things would have been different if the oyster was in it, hmm…

The bracelet wasn’t in stock so I left the watch with them and they mailed it to me a week later.

I ordered a jubilee from the Dallas RSC, they required that it be installed but gave me the oyster bracelet back as well.

I just contacted my AD with the exact same question.

Asked if it's possible to order a 62510H jubilee with 502b or t end links (my 16710 has lug holes).

He said yes, you'll have them in about 4 weeks and price is around 1.100-1.200 EUR (he wasn't 100% sure due to the price increases last week).

Did it with my 16700 Pepsi and will never go back to the oyster. Picked it up from my local AD

Nice patina and looks great on Jubilee. Your insert is fake / aftermarket though

Bought a jubilee bracelet from RSC in 2018 just before the 126710 BLRO on jubilee was announced and I love it

It has the "hooked" 2s, which is typical for an aftermarket insert.

Oh you mean at the left base (bottom) of the 2. Its particularly prevalent on the 20 and the 22

I see it.
Mine does not have it.
Never knew that.
I just learned something new today.
Thanks.

Try calling and asking, save yourself a trip. I've gotten new bracelets from RSCNY in the past.

The hooks are at the top of the 2s, not the base.

Yes, Rolex does and will sell the jubilee to you. Send the watch for a service on any old strap and ask them to quote for a jubilee and you’ll get one.

You don’t even need a service. You can just order the bracelet at your AD for the 16710.

This!
They will however require you to bring the watch in to verify the serial number.

I get it now. Where the top of the 2 hangs out too much over the base. Yep.

Last year I tried ordering a Jubilee for my 16710 from two different ADs and neither one was permitted to order from their parts ordering system. The service manager at my regular AD even called the Rolex parts rep and was not permitted to order.

So I contacted the Dallas RSC and they were willing to sell me a new bracelet and install it with a service. So that is how I got my Jubilee. If the AD can't or wont help you contact Dallas RSC.
