Those with OF…

How often do you wear your OF compared to the other watches in your collection?

After getting the OF Daytona, I’ve found it’s my most worn watch outside of the office. Incredibly comfortable.

Wish Rolex made OF on a SS watch.

Love mine as well and try to wear it more often than the others in my collection. So comfortable.

Those with OF…

Was thinking you were asking a COMPLETELY different question...

This. I find some of Rolex’s design and marketing decisions baffling. I sourced some OEM Oysterflex halves for my 116500 shortly after purchase and along with Smarty endlinks wore it that way for over a year.
I see no real reason not to offer it as either an option or add-on for all sports models whether PM or SS. Weird that they don’t want to sell even more watches.

He is not the um.... only fan of Oyster Flex. Many here subscribed to the idea that it is not a strap, but a bracelet.

Back in the day I had a rg 40 ym on of and wore it almost everyday for years. Now I have a Daytona and I’m glad it’s on rubber. Suits it very well in my opinion. Thinking about doing a sky dweller on oysterflex. It allows a flashy watch to be much more versatile. This could be worn to the gym or with a tux and doesn’t draw the attention a full bracelet does.

I agree, the OF makes its extremely versatile.

Dress up and down easily, works with everything and tend to take it when I travel, WG OF Daytona.

Developed and patented by Rolex, the outer construction of the Oysterflex is made of high-density elastomer, a material commonly used for high-performance bushings of cars. At its core is a flexible titanium-nickel alloy, giving it shape and structural integrity.

Have a Daytona on oysterflex and it's my daily. Very comfortable. If I could get a ceramic bezel on bracelet though that would be my preference.

Just to mix this up - I wouldn’t have an OF for free - rubber looks terrible on a Rolex…..

I'll dial that one back just a bit. I had an OF that put on an 11 ND Sub, that worked really well. Rubber on PM? I'm a hard double

To each their own, but my RG Daytona on OF is the most beautiful Rolex (or any of my watches for that matter) that I own. It is just downright gorgeous and I have a hard time taking it off of my wrist. Rolex knew what there were doing when they designed it.

I wear mine several days per week - it’s in the rotation for sure. Funny enough, I think it looks really sharp on business attire rather than just a weekend watch. The OF gives my business casual outfit a unique look. While I still love my full metal bracelet watches, there is something more modern about the OF.

I’ll be honest, i loved the OF as a sporty watch but disliked it with business casual and certainly dress clothes. It’s amazing but i eventually got tired of them. I still think of the WG Ghost though. It was my favorite!

I agree. I own the YM Everose as well and given my lifestyle wouldn’t be able to wear it very often if it was all precious metal.

Honestly I prefer the idea of getting a watch on bracelet and adding a rubber b strap. I'm not thrilled with the contour of an oysterflex. I like how the rubber b angels downward from the lugs.

I have a Sub on a Rubber B and a Daytona on OF. On the wrist, the contour of the OF is just perfect for the wrist. My Rubber B not so much. Don't get me wrong, I love my Rubber B and it is on my Sub exclusively. But in reality, the OF is so much superior in every way. Hard to describe and difficult to capture in pictures. Really need to wear both on the wrist to experience the difference. YMMV

Very rarely. I’m on my second and find it extremely uncomfortable and unsightly to look at with the way the strap flares out due to the fins on the inside.

Unfortunately for me it’s the meteorite Daytona model which will be going nowhere :)

I've never tried one on, so I'll defer to you in the wearing experience. I still say from the looks perspective I think that Sub with the Rubber B looks way better on your wrist than the Daytona on OF. Now that's based on one photo of each only, but the OF flare is evident in that picture. The Rubber B seems to hug your wrist better IMO.

I typically wear mine about the same as others in the rotation...well, maybe a little more in the summer months bc it's more wearable (IMO) in those hot, humid conditions.

I have 126515 rosegold daytona, nice watch. Still BLNR with jubilee gets 90% of wrist time.

I have the 116519 in silver dial and I love it. I use it frequently because it is comfortable and sporty yet it is precious metal.

As Rolex themselves say of the Oysterflex, "Pairing this technical bracelet with watch cases in 18 ct gold may surprise."
