I have a SS Date Date Just and would like to get a leather band

does Rolex make genuine leather bands for day dates with clasps, or do I have to get a cellini and use my own clasp?

I have had Rolex black Java lizard straps on my gold datejust since I got it(was my dad's), I even bought the little gold Rolex buckle. Since Rolex closed the Beverly Hills service center, it's not easy to get straps! I went to Geary's/Rolex in Beverly Hills & asked them to see if they could order from Rolex Dallas parts ctr. No word....so it's on an aftermarket one...I have left messages @ Geary's no answer? The aftermarket one I have doesn't taper, so I can't use the Rolex buckle. I'll have to call geary's again & bug 'em!

Rolex deployant clasps are specifically for the Rolex straps that come on their strap equipped watches and won't fit a typical aftermarket strap..

They are also a couple of thousand dollars... just for the clasp, so you don't see many around.

Rolex straps are also ridiculously overpriced and taper down to 16mm for the older style of buckle......... it's pretty hard to find a genuine Rolex buckle in anything other than 16mm and most of the 18mm you see for sale are not genuine..

Personally, I see no reason to seek out a Rolex strap............ there are just too many good quality products that look great at far less money...Like the curved end Hirsch Leonardo series...

I know that this is not the place, but I have one that I NEVER use. I wore it once and went back to the bracelet. It's 20mm curved ends and has a 16mm buckle end. Is anyone interested in it? It's virtually brand new...
