2 Rolex precious medial collection decision. Please vote

Please vote from the 6 options I came up and see below details.

I want 2 professional model precious medal watch’s in my collection (for now). Here are some personal general rules / preferences I’d like to stick to.

- I am into yellow gold and white gold.
- Dial can’t be same color and
- Dial has to be contrasting- (for example: black/dark blue and white.)
- I am leaning towards one YG and one WG, or 2 WG.
- Not two YG.
- No oysterflex bands.

Please think of versatility, collectibility, investment potential (although not as important).

“Please think of …. collectibility, investment potential….” No thanks.

Good luck with your choice.

It's metal, not medal or medial.

I would say Daytona is the hottest watch and will remain so for the forseeable future.

That could be 2 reasons. You can’t predict the future and watches aren’t an investment.

It’s ok to have “typos” as English isn’t always a first language for some on TRF. Very sorry but I have a real problem about watches as investments.

Stuff can have value and that value can go up. Why is that a problem?

I can understand not wanting to advise someone else on what to do with their money though.

It’s just weird to me. I agree about advising people. It’s their problem!

I hate posts like these- if you don’t know what you want you shouldn’t be buying anything.

Buy what you will enjoy wearing. If you like them, you won’t ever think about the investment potential.

Collectablilty is you liking seeing when when you open the drawer, case, winder or whatever else that they are kept in

Yup and each of the 10 threads is intentional. Didn’t know I was tracked or restricted to talk on the forum. It’s a passionate hobby of mine. I will probably make another 50 and if you don’t like them - see your way out. Thanks in advance.

Imagine most people would say that if you really can’t make up your own mind which two full gold watches to buy then maybe don’t buy any.

I have an idea of what I am looking for.

What are forums for? Generally to discuss with one another on advice, experiences, expertise and overall passion for the hobby. I realize the poll is a bit granular so that’s my fault. But the overall scrutinizing happening is unacceptable. A bunch of keyboard warriors.

I will continue asking for opinions. It’s fun. If you don’t like it, next time you see Porsche91101 start a thread, simply ignore it

I couldn’t make a pair out of that batch, the only thing that remotely appeals to me is the Cookie Monster and its appeal has nothing to do with value.

same as my previous message. I come to forums like this to seek ideas, opinions, advice, etc. I have an idea of what I want but like for others in the community to talk aloud on their perspective. Isn't that what Rolex Forums is about? The condescending attitude by keyboard warriors shouldn't be tolerated by anyone in the forum/community. I will continue to solicit ideas, launch polls, and ask for advice. If you don't like it, please avoid coming into a thread I will inevitably create in the future. Thanks in advance.

I’ll play.

Personally I’d buy one professional which would be the WG GMT Master with the Black Dial (so I’d be buying pre owned) and a DD40 with Green Ombré Dial in YG

In your scenario I’d be buying the YG Deep Sea and a WG GMT Meteorite
