Called it, it requires specialized parts which is always a no-no for manufacturing. Add in its low popularity makes it a prime target for discontinuation just like the Taco Bell Mexican pizza.

I think it has more to do with the ‘faraday cage’ being old outdated technology. Won’t be surprised to see Rolex bring back a new and improved and technological relevant model in near future.

Given the capability of the current movements this would really be something. Maybe another titanium candidate? If it happens it will be interesting, although I think it will be a push to come up with something technologically in front of everything else for scientific use.
