Icon9 Should I worry if my datejust 31 dropped?

My partner dropped my datejust 31. It's not too high and it fell onto carpet but enough to hear the dropping sound. There was no scratch or anything. However the time he dropped 11:54PM and I looked at my watch now is says 8:30 . Should I be worry? The second hands still moving. The date 22 is still correct.

If you dropped it at 11:54 pm and it was 8:30 when you picked it up then you have a problem.
If it is showing 8:30 and it is 8:30 then it is all ok.

My suggestion would be to reset the date/time, assuming that this goes okay then leave the watch running for 48 hours, then recheck everything; is the date correct, what about the time is it accurate to within a couple of seconds?

If everything checks out then your watch is back to wrist duties, if there are issues then sadly its a trip to your AD to send the watch off for a bit of TLC.

A Rolex watch is built to stand a knock or two but as many can testify sometimes it is the most innocuous of knocks, taps and bangs that cause the most damage.

Hope all is good.

Depends on what the time was when you looked at it.

Like others said, if it still runs ok then nothing is the matter but if it is losing significant time then you need to service the watch.

I’d let the watch run down and then give it a full wind. If it operates as normal I wouldn’t worry.

The padding underneath the carpet is important. Is it 7/16” or 3/8”?
Please measure and report back.

On watch it says date 23 and the time is 3:05 . The carpet is regular house kind. Should I adjust the time forward to 6:13 or should I wait?

Set the time at any time, whenever you want to, there are no concerns mechanically
