Tudor GMT and 5 Link Bracelet
A couple months ago I bought my wife a necklace from my AD who I am waiting for the Rolex Pepsi call, he has always treated me well and figured it could help my situation. While I was buying the necklace he made an aggressive offer that I could not pass up for a Tudor GMT Pepsi. I had been talking to him about adding one and going back and forth between the black and white dial, ultimately went with the black dial. I have/had the intentions of buying Tudor’s rubber strap and 5 link bracelet with the T-Fit because I am not a huge fan of the fake rivets. My AD told me that neither options will fit my Tudor GMT. I called a Tudor boutique and was told that the 5 link bracelet would fit. Wondering if anyone out there can help confirm if the 5 link bracelet will fit my GMT. Thank you TRF community!

You can get a 5 link bracelet for the GMT, but it’s not from the Metas Black Bays. The Metas BBs have an updated case design so neither the 5 link or rubber will fit the GMT.
I believe you need the 5 link bracelet from the non-diver Black Bay 41. A good upgrade in my opinion, especially with the T fit - id certainly look to add if I still had BBGMT in my collection. |

As noted above, you need the 5 link from the non-diver Black Bay 41 watch number M79680-0002. The actual bracelet part number is B-20-65580-22-E1. However, they are expensive (around $1000).
I ordered the bracelet above from my AD around 7 weeks ago and it finally arrived this week. It's a perfect fit. I put it on my Chrono which is the same case as the GMT. I like it so much that I ordered another for my GMT. Prior to ordering this bracelet I had purchased a jubilee from Uncle Seiko and used my original Tudor clasp with it. It was a huge improvement over the original Tudor bracelet and much less expensive than the OEM five link. But somehow just wasn't quite right. The OEM tudor 5 link is perfect. I'll be posting my own thread about this sometime today. |
