2003 Datejust Thunderbird

I am thinking about selling my 2003 datejust thunderbird with a silver dial (stick markers) and an oyster bracelet. I have all boxes and papers. It is in good shape. What is the approx value of this watch? A dealer wants to give me $2,000 on a trade in. Should I take it or sell it outright. Thanks for your help

You might want to do a search in the sales section, and see what they've gone for over there. Also, pics please.

Should I sell it now? 36MM seems to be a thing of the past. Even Rolex is making the sea dweller 43MM. Will the Sub be next?

I think you could get a lot more than $2k, so long as it's in decent shape. 36mm may, as you say, be a "thing of the past." But sometimes the past ain't so bad....

It's a fair trade in offer, you could do better selling it on your own and make an extra $5-700, but is it wirth the time and possible risk?
