This is a very interesting buckle for discussion. I and a few others are of the opinion that these are genuine Rolex Buckles and may in fact have been a proto-type of the buckle that ultimately became the buckle design choice for the 9315 folded link bands.

I and a few other folks are of the opinion that they are. Now, a couple of folks have actually said that Rolex used these for a short period of time as SERVICE replacements. All the stampings etc are obviously Rolex quality, and hence strengthens the supposition that they are genuine.
