1815 chrono question
For a while have been thinking of acquiring an ALS 1815 chrono (most likely pre-owned).... quick question for those of you more knowledgeable on Lange than me :
Other than the dial colors and layout with pulsometer, is there any difference between current gen 1815 chrono and the previous generation (ie after 2010 when movement was upgraded)? Looks like the movement and case dimensions are exactly the same . Thanks in advance ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

My recollection is that the 2nd generation (no pulsometer scale) is ever so slightly thinner than the current generation (with pulsometer scale) due to the raised pulsometer ring at the circumference of the dial. However, I could be wrong and in any case this would be such a small difference that I doubt anyone would notice.
Otherwise case dimensions and movement is exactly the same. |
