What Firearm accompanies your Rolex?

Ok, like my other post, what Firearm daily accompanies your Rolex? (for those of you who are fortunate enought to live in areas where you have the Right to carry, or are in a profession that requires you to carry firearms) Or If not what Firearm accompanies your Rolex for Sporting?

For work, I carry a SIG 226 in 9mm, with custom Nill Walnut Grips.

Back when I am in Indiana, I carry a HK P7 9mm.

When I was living in Cambodia last year I had a vintage Colt 1908 .380 (initially issued to the Shanghai Municipal Police in 1927!)

When sporting, it is a Ruger 12 guage Over and under, customized Marlin 30-30, or a Thompson Center Encore Rifle.

(NOTE: This topic is not to discuss politics of carrying firearms, for all you liberals out there. LOL. It is if you do carry on a daily basis for work or for personal protection or for sporting, what type of firearm accompanies your Rolex. I think there is nothing finer than having a good quality watch, a good quality knife, and a good quality Firearm.)

Glock 23 or 36. When I'm feeling frisky it's a custom Colt 1911.

I'm thinking of joining a pistol club and getting my own firearm now that I'm back in Melbourne, but in the meantime these are what I got my hands on in Singapore:

Glock 17

H&K USP Expert

Tangfolio Silver Custom (belongs to my mate)

Nice photos!

So what are the firearm laws in Singapore?

I really am a big fan of Glocks as well. I have a Glock 17 as well, as a back up and to give to the client if need be. For reliability and simplicity, you can not beat the Glock!

What can I say? I know my limitations.

I have actually found that I am extremely allergic to bullets, both coming at me and going towards other people from me.

Sadly our gun laws have tightened so much that it is near impossible to have rifles let alone pistols etc.

The only rifle I have now days is a Winchester 30/30 lever action. This is used for stock control and culling.

Yes, it is very restrictive, ever since what happened in Tassie all those years ago.

BTW, I never knew you were on a farm! I may have guessed it, seeing as you're not in the city. How are you dealing with the lack of water, not struggling I hope.

Well, it depends. Generally, it would be a S&W hammerless Airweight, with +P jhp. If I feel the need for additional capacity, then my "baby" Glock 27 .40cal extended magazine.

I would not dispute the benefit of an auto-loader. But we must agree that it requires that one carry at least one readily available spare magazine. An auto without the spare mag may be more dangerous to the owner.

BTW, I also ride a BMW R1150R(abs) motorcycle, to add to the equation.

Cheers,
jim

Thanks, Leopard!

In Singapore, keeping firearms at home is a no-no. The pistols in my photos are all stored in the range armoury under lock and key, and members are only allowed to own one pistol of each caliber, i.e., you can have a .38, a .45 and a 9mm, but you can't own two 9mm pistols.

That Glock I fired has had more than a few rounds through the pipe, and it showed its age. It kept misfeeding, and at one point, I squeezed the trigger and nothing happened. I pointed it slightly upwards and was about to rack the slide back to reload, and when I eased the pressure off the trigger it discharged. Good thing I remembered my gun safety and the round went right through the target, but damn, it gave me a start.

The USP was one sweet weapon, though and as for the Tangfolio, well, I found out what the big deal was about compensators!

Not true. You can chew gum there - you just can't sell it.

As for oral sex, at last count most government ministers there thought that it meant those really expensive phone calls.

No carry for me living in Los Angeles. Once you get inland, California is much less fruit and nutty and CCW permits become more common.

To my mind, a perfect carry to go with a Rolex is a HiPower. Sleek, refined, internationally appreciated, and timeless.

This one has been quietly slicked up a little bit.
