Incoming - Patek 5212a

Hi Everyone,

I was delighted to receive the call for the 5212a. My collection thus far has been somewhat gold-heavy, and I wanted a daily stainless steel watch that could fly under the radar, as safety in the city can be an issue. After trying various strap options, I have opted for a plain black strap and a separate full red leather strap, which I will wear more on holiday and will post photos of later.

I really love this timepiece. The complication suits me well, as my business involves scheduling appointments for specific weeks of the year! I also feel the colour of the dial looks much more interesting in person than in photos. Thanks for reading!

Thanks, everyone! Your kind words are much appreciated. The black strap is definitely more of a "boring" configuration, but it keeps it somewhat under the radar/inconspicuous. I like how it blends in with the hour markers, and the all black feel highlights the red accents. Surprisingly, I actually also quite like the original strap with it too. Here is a photo of the red strap I also picked up!

Such a gorgeous reference from Patek, even as someone who doesn't care much for leather strap pieces, this has such a cool vintage vibe... huge congrats and enjoy in good health

The 5212a sounds like a perfect addition to your collection, especially with the black and red leather straps for different occasions.

I love mine! After wearing it daily for a while I learned the bezel is a scratch magnet!

Congratulations and enjoy!

Congratulations! I really enjoy the 5212 as a low-key watch as well. It works well with so many different strap combinations.

Check out some of grey and blue suede strap options Ash as they are perfect for the 5212a
