How long did you guys wait for a hulk?

So I was able to check out a hulk at my local redbar and I fell in LOVE hard! Such a beautiful watch! Really want to get one from one of the ADs I use and was wondering how long you guys waited to actually get it from an AD. I had a sub date that I just sold cause I never wore it after getting my blnr. But the hulk is different and amazing!

I got mine thru grey before the shortage and paid less than retail. Right now I am hearing a few years wait thru ADs in my area.

About a week. Asked AD to get one in for me; got the call, went down and they had two to choose from.

This was in 2013 though.

The last time I enquired how long the waitlist was to get one, they said 'a couple of years' which I think most people on this forum now know to mean 'how long is a piece of string?'

I waited a year, and couldn't wait any longer, so bought used.

Then six months later got a new one from AD and sold the used one back to the dealer I bought it from for a small profit.

Win win.

I bought mine from grey for like $7k first year it came out, sold it ... like a dummy for a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms.

Ended up selling FF a few months later and buying another LVC from gray for $7.5k. Sold it stupidly for IWC Big Pilot.

Can’t find them anymore, but been on AD (NorCal) list for about a year (still 4th on list).

I'm still waiting 5 months in, in the meantime I bought a 114060 to show some form of loyalty.

3 months between end 2017 and beginning of 2018. It was only my second purchase from that.

But maybe I was lucky that they kind of “lost” my order. I called in 3 months after ordering it and they couldn’t find it. Magically 3 days later the Hulk arrived.

:)

I waited only a few weeks after asking for one which was at the start of 2017 (to mark my son’s birth). Then asked my AD to get one for a friend of mine (who hasn’t purchased anything from them prior) and they got one in but they seem to have slowed down.

This is a very good way to go, I like your style ! Makes perfect perfect sense.

And if the day never comes from the AD before it’s discontines, well... you got it for the market rate price anyway!

Win win whatever happens I say

Asked my AD about one in December 2018 and got the call in February this year. However I was collecting a BLNR when I asked about the Hulk so I do have a good relationship with my AD.

Most answering will tell you they got it quickly and before the hype, so probably a 6 month to 2 year wait now, depending on your luck and location.

Last year the AD told me about two years for a 116610LV, so I hope next year.

I waited about 2 months and picked it up in May 2018. I went this past Monday to pick up a Datejust 41 I ordered. They had just received a shipment that morning. They had the green sub in the display case. I couldn’t believe it. I called a friend and he bought it 2 hours later.

Bought one grey for 9.8k December of 2017. Was concerned they would go away Basel of 2018. Received one from AD May of 2018. Sold the grey one shortly after to a friend for 9.4k.

Per AD, no other LVCs came in after mine in 2018. They are coming in very slow from what I’ve heard from ADs and what I read here.

Got mine instantly and if I recall correctly, 12% off retail from my AD. Of course, that was March 2014, so times were different back then.

I added my name to the list of a handful of AD's within two hours of the Atlanta area during Basel 2018 (March). Some seemed optimistic that they get could one relatively soon. Some said they hadn't received one in over a year and adding my name to the list seemed a waste of time. Less than a week later I got the call that one was in and ready for purchase. Two hours later I was wearing my new LV.
