For sale is this Chrono Tokyo / Kurono watch created by Hajime Asaoka, an independent watchmaker highly respected in the watchmaking circle. The Chrono Tokyo line was introduced in 2018 as an affordable alternative to his atelier watches.

The "Chrono Tokyo" series is released only in the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) making it tricky to get in other countries around the world.

In 2020, the FINAL series of Chrono Tokyo time-only watches were released in the form of “Bullseye” dial with slim Arabic numerals instead of the inscribed grooves found in previous models. Two dials colours - Champagne and Field Grey - were available in a limited number of 50 each, bringing the final total production for time-only Chrono Tokyo models to 450.

Given the brand's announcement that they will not be making anymore JDM Chrono Tokyo watches, the prices of all Chrono Tokyo watches will likely climb since they are officially discontinued.
