Maybe the Speedy but I’d always say if you can keep what you have then do so

I would say get rid of the 36 Explorer, only because its the smallest compared to what you've got.

Well the only opinion that matters is the one you state to get rid of,out of your list the 36mm Explorer would be my choice.

It depends on why you are getting rid of one. If for money, then I would need to understand values but just based on one out it is the Explorer.

You have overlap with the Explorers and the Submariner SeaDweller (sort of). That’s where I’d start

I’d swap the two explorers as the 36mm is a classic, but overall agree with this. I’d probably keep the SD over the sub too

Explorer or Sub/SD in my opinion

I'm not a fan of the Exp, and the Sub and SD are so similar I think one or the other could go and you wouldn't miss it.

Well said! And certainly not on a Tuesday😉..
I’d sell the Explorer II for me it’s way too large (and simply cannot compare to a gorgeous 16570.).

Why do you need to get rid of one? If you need the money for something else - then sell the one that gets you the most.

If you just think you have too many watches, then sell the one you wear the least.

Seems pretty straight forward, no?

SD or explorer. But whatever you do, don’t get rid of the 16710, 14060 or 226570. That’s a great three piece collection on its own.

124270 (Explorer 36mm)
226570 (Exp II 42mm)
14060m (Sub 40mm, 2011)

16660 (Sea Dweller 40mm, 1984)
3590.50 (Omega Speedmaster, 42mm 1996)

I believe you pretty much listed them in the order that you believe they should be divested. Amirite?

Just to elucidate, I would move the Ex2 to to the top of the list because the 16710 covers GMT, but either one of those should leave if you are serious about 86-ing one reference from your collection.

If this were my collection, I would never wear the ex 1. I would keep the sub and sea dweller because they are classics and the Speedmaster would stay because it is the only Chrono and also one of my favorites.

There. How’s that? Lol

No, and allow me to explain.

The Speedy and the SD are both vintage category. I wear them the least, probably the Speedy even less, but I do very much love them, it’s just that I do not want to wear them off as much as the more contemporary ones in the collection

I would move the Explorer II. 36mm Explorer is a classic. Every collection needs a Speedy. You never know when you may want a super functional and legible chronometer.

Depends on why you need to get rid of one.

If it's to free up funds I would imagine the Sub or Explorer 2 will bring in the most.
If it's to buy something else, then what are you buying?
If it's to reduce numbers, what do you wear the least?

In regards to the Vintage pieces (GMT, Sea Dweller, Sub), what sort of example are they......NOS, Excellent, Good, Fair., Box and Papers etc.....If they are Excellent or above don't sell (unless you need funds) as it will cost you much more to buy back in the future.....If they are "Nice" examples, then bump them off, you can always pick up another.

Personally I'm not selling unless i have a pressing need for funds.

Ignoring the above, out of the collection I would drop the Speedy.

Sell me the 666
You don't need it since you have a Sub.

out of what you listed, I would probably sell the Explorer II or SD...

I may be the only one here that's not a fan of the Explorer II & the SD & Sub are too similar.

No way I'm getting rid of my Speedy Pro!! Iconic chronograph!!
