Horrible fake sub on ebay...please report if you're board

Doggy-mom insists it's gen. Does not look like a compromised account.
I reported it but its still up.

In this case, it won't pass authentication, the buyer will be refunded, and the seller will not get the watch back. It's actually kind of better to let it sell and go through authentication and be removed from circulation.

ebay policies that you agree to when you list, "You acknowledge and agree that if our authentication team detects fraud or is unable to authenticate the item, the item will be removed from marketplace circulation - neither buyer or seller will receive the item; in addition, eBay will work with the proper authorities as needed and reserves the right to confiscate and destroy any items unable to be authenticated."

"This was passed on to my best friend from his dad, and now my buddy has passed, and I found this tucked inside the truck he left me (over a year later!) He always said when he dies....sell it and go buy myself something. Go figure.... He was a quirky and humorous guy....and I truly miss him. We were friends for over 35 years.

Being a rather small female, the sensible thing to do is find another owner that will enjoy it.

I honestly know nothing more about it, however I do drive the truck daily!

I am leaving it as found. It hasn't been cleaned or polished. It is on the correct date and time. It feels weighty. Smooth movement. Normal wear for the age, and I see no major flaws or scratches. It was most likely purchased 40 years ago or so, I honestly don't know. I would imagine this to look excellent once it has been cleaned/polished by a jeweler.

I am pricing it more than fairly, knowing it will be taken to a jeweler for a check up and cleaning. Understand this is a vintage piece and not a brand new watch. Personally, I like the aura of older pieces."

"I have no idea if this watch is real or not, but thanks to several rude messages from supposed 'experts', the description of what I have follows. Is it real? I DO NOT KNOW. You are buying this as a vintage, (circa 80's), collectible watch."

Thanks everyone.

Probably it'll be in her local fb marketplace sooner rather than later.
