My wife will wear it... and for her third time promptly proceed to scratch the crystal of the timepiece on my wrist. She's 2 for 2 so far in scratching my crystals, and lost one timepiece.

Ah, but we love who we love. But yeah, ummm, that is a big NO on that piece. Too dangerous for other pieces here.

I wouldn't wear that watch if it was gifted to me. You put your arm or life in danger wearing that thing.

How do you scratch sapphire crystal in normal use? I have scratched plenty of plastic type...

He forgot to mention the huge diamond she carries on her ring finger!

My wife scratched the crystal on my GMT MASTER II with her diamond ring. Diamonds are harder than sapphire crystal and can scratch them.

Piece Unique

I am confused by the descriptive card - I don't believe Rolex has cased a YM in a platinum case.

Stunning watch. Fortunately Rolex still wanders of the beaten track and produces works of art.

Rumor has it there’s a watch somewhere in there.

Not for me personally but you have to admire the craftsmanship and artistry behind it at least to some degree.

I’ve scratched mine on my 216570 on a hotel room glass table topper. I banged and dragged it pretty hard in the darkness.

That is a stunning watch. Could I pull it off? Absolutely not but on the right person in the right setting that watch would be hard to beat. Congratulations.

For those that can wear such an exceptional piece, good on you! Personally, I can’t even imagine a scenario where I could pull it off. Congrats!
