On the Rolex's that you wear (not safe queens), do you remove the sticker that is on the back of the case?

I left mine on until it got worn and when I finally peeled it off it lost a lot of the hologram. I kept what was left of it but I wish I'd have known - I'd have removed it sooner and kept it nicer.

Mine is an "M" series so it didn't come with a hologram sticker. No real desire to keep a clear sticker on.

Either way is ok I guess but for me any sort of stickers etc come off. Not to mention i'm an accesories freak, love any little keepsakes to go along with my watches and having a nice, new holigram sticker later down to me is great.

Yea I would get rid of the sticker. I got rid of the one on my Explorer II. Its hardly worth anything if not at all in terms of resale.

Wearing it with the sticker on actually traps the moisture from your wrist to the underside of the watch. Over time, that would cause the sticker to fade and discolor and may even harm the finish to the caseback.

I picked up the term Safe Queen from my shooting friends. We often buy a new firearm, only to put it in the safe and never seem to use it.

I keep them on until they look like they're about ready to slide off.

Sticker on. If the back corrodes, RSC can take care of it.

How do case backs get scratched?

How will it scratch if it's on your wrist?
Anyway, i didn't realise there was one till someone mentioned it on here.
I took it off as it was looking a bit snotty. Not really worried about the hologram.

I'm usually a stickler for details in sticky situations such as this and feel as if I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, but if you must know the truth, if my watch does come with a sticker I usually end up sticking it on a clear piece of plastic which I then stick in the safe for safe keeping.

The hologram sticker, IMHO, means absolutely nothing nowadays, as new Rolexes come with clear stickers.

Dump them, both hologram or clear!!
