Planet Ocean 43.5 Size
So, I love the PO line but I am just wondering about the size. I am use to wearing big, heavier watches. Breitling for example. Does anyone have a 6.75 in wrist and wear a PO? How do you like it? I know the lug to lug is 48ish, so that should help the wearability.

Anyone? How does it wear in size vs the 42mm SMP? Any wrist shots around 6.75-7in?

I have the 43.5 GMT and a 7” wrist and love it. It wears smaller than you might expect. Not sure how much a difference .25” would matter. If you already know you like larger watches, I would say go for it!

Thank you. Yes I like a little wrist presence with my watches. I’ve been wearing a breitling Superocean chrono which is 42mm, 50.5 L 2 L, and 15.5mm thick so I should be use to it.

I have the grey dial, orange numbered titanium Planet Ocean 43.5, and it wears very comfortable and light. My wrist is 6.5” and it sits perfectly.

Very happy to hear that. I viewed the 39.5 and it seemed to compact. The lug to lug was very short and just seemed it’s a better watch worn bigger.

I have a 6.75" wrist and wear the orange bezel PO 43.5mm. Without doubt, my most comfortable watch. I wouldn't consider buying a smaller one, the 43.5mm seems perfect.

I will also mention, don't put too much into pictures of watches on wrists. They are very deceiving based on camera angle, lighting, how a person wears a watch. All of my watches can look huge on my wrist in photos because I am not a very good photographer, when in reality, they look and feel great.

Edit: I do have a 43.5 PO and love it but it is currently sidelined as I am missing a clasp screw. Love the legibility and sits nice on the wrist for its thickness. Adjustable clasp is a big help as well as can get perfect fit. |

Yes, I was considering getting the older model 42mm, but decided to go for the new one. I got the black bezel one.

I used to have the blue dial 39.5mm. It wore comfortable, but the dial was too small, so I sold it.

I freaked out over the size for nothing! It fits wonderful! Honestly I think it wears like my 42mm SMP. Not heavy at all. I guess I’ve been use to wearing bigger watches but the weight is fine.

Awesome watch! Congratulations. I’m a real Planet Ocean fan. I’ve purchased a bunch of them for myself and my family. I have 2 right now. A 42mm Ti and the 43.5mm GoodPlanet GMT. Great watches.

Congrats on the New PO. I was in the same boat, hesitated on pulling the drigger on the White Dial/Orange Bezel PO because of size. Finally bought it last week and loving the 43.5 size. It's a great fit on my 7" wrist. Hoping for a few more Planet Ocean colors and models for 2022, I hear the PO GMT might be due for a update.

I’ve been afraid to try on the latest Ti model for fear that I’ll think I need one…..

Titanium 43.5 Planet Ocean
Here’s one of mine. Tried to get a closeup of the sandblast titanium dial. You get light, medium and dark shades in different settings. Bezel too.

Great looking watch! Do you get tired of looking at the orange?

No. It’s legible, and subdued. The grey dial really compliments the orange numbers, and the orange rubber on the bezel isn’t bright in your face like some other rubber colored bezels in the Planet Ocean line. I’ve got the rubber strap and deployment buckle that goes with this coming, but the watch is so light that it isn’t really necessary. I’ve got other watches that I rotate so it never becomes an issue! Keep in mind that on the Omega website they take some horrible, lifeless pictures of their watches that do not resemble what they look like in person.

Great looking watch. I've thought about purchasing one but worried about the rubber on the Bezel degrading over time or banging it up when wearing. I haven't had a chance to see one in person, as a owner what's your thoughts with the rubber inlay holding up. Thanks in advance.
