Beverly Hills RSC Polish

I thought I'd share the Beverly Hills termineur's handywork... I'm sure there are many eagle eyed sleuths that can figure out which is refinished and which is factory... The TT GMT or the SS Sub?

I would have no hesitation using this RSC in the future. They were right at a 3 week turnaround and simply awesome to deal with. Walk in / face-to-face drop-offs only is the only conceivable down side if you have no reason to be in LA.

Also the sub on the right appears to have a bevel but really doesn’t have one either. I have a new from the AD solid gold sitting right here also.

There’s nothing to be told my friend. I have pre ceramics here also which DO have the chamfer. Rolex does NOT chamfer modern gmt or sub.

There both SS cases. Why would rolex polish the edges differently from new? They wouldn’t. I just looked on eBay at NIB root beer and it has slight bevel just like that sub....still in stickers

The SS Sub on the right is the one that was serviced. Very easy for me to see. Am I right, OP?

Lol your too funny man! My homework has been done by the way. That’s not the proper way to address something. Oh yeah my previous blnr doesn’t have a chamfer either.

You couldn’t be more wrong about the edges of the newer case. I just pulled this ND out of the safe just for this thread.

This no-date has never been worn. It was sized by the AD and has been in my safe ever since.

Rolex eliminated the chamfer (i.e. bevel) when they moved to the six digit models.

This is a chamfer:

(Although not in great shape anymore. This guy gets a lot of underwater action and has been polished)

Thank you for a second confirmation. I showed this guy my ceramic no-date, two tone bluesy, gold bluesy and he was still convinced there was a chamfer on the 6 digit sub/gmt.

I normally don’t wade into drama, but I couldn’t resist this one.

I don’t know how anyone who even casually browses TRF wouldn’t know that the professional line eliminated the chamfer a decade ago...

I normally don’t mess with the drama either but when I politely corrected him he told me “to do my
Homework.”

That has literally nothing to do with your argument about the existence of any chamfer.
