New to the Community

First of all I'd like to say a big hello to all TRF members out there. I have been lurking around this forum for a few months now and I feel I have found a very special place with some great people with a shared passion. As the name suggests I am more often to be found onboard a ship than on dry land.

My latest purchase a DSSD was sourced directly through a posting I read on here last week!

Welcome, and I hope you are enjoying your DSSD or SDDS as some say

Looks like you have a nice little collection

I'm guessing that your Milgauss is the GV.

Any photos are more than welcome and it is definitely more fun to post...often

Thank you for the warm welcome TRF'ers its very much appreciated. I have just posted a few pics of my watches in the Gallery section.

Steve, The GV Milgauss would have been my first choice if they hadn't been retailing for 2 grand over list in UK around 9 months ago when they were all the rage. I decided to purchase the black face instead as I fancied a more formal watch. The GV hype seems to have died down just recently and their price has certainly come down to a more reasonable level in the interim so I might be tempted to look again at purchasing one in the near future.
