Black Bay 54 - now that’s an interesting one..

Need to see it I the flesh and how the 37mm wears but I’m liking what I see. Kudos to Tudor for reduced case sizes.

Addition of T-fit clasp is a massive plus.

The crown looks very small and the bezel looks tinny, but need to see in person to decide. Tudor may be targeting this to female crowd.

Or people who prefer a smaller watch period.

36-39mm for most is a sweet spot.

No doubt a great release for those with smaller wrists, but personally I think it will wear miniature.

It’ll definitely be a watch that needs to be seen in the flesh.

I love my DJ 36mm so I’d assume this at 37mm should wear larger.

This one is VERY interesting.

To me anyway. Yes its small, its probably a unisex / womens version by todays standards but its very vintage. I love the flat case profile and the fact they kept the bezel with silver indices but gave the dial a vintage aesthetic.

Keen to try this one. I think its a fantastic release.

46mm lug to lug according to hodinkee, so it might not wear as small as 37mm suggests.

Agree. Very interesting, indeed. If they have nailed the thickness in relation to the 37 mm width, this could be golden.

Rolex could start to make a 39mm sub as well, to atone for supersizing the explorer.

Interesting but I've found the 58 perfect for my 6,25 " wrist. Definetely not too big. This 54 is cool but cant see a reason to update. I guess the target audience is smaller wrists.

Why no gold index in the bezel. Odd choice. I know a lot of women that like my BB58 but it's too big. This should sell to them easily.

This will be one that my wife will check out when available. She wears a 36 mm Date Just regularly but find the 40 mm Submariner a bit too large.

On paper it’s the stand-out release for me. Just need to get hands-on with it.

BB54 wears nicely on Wei Koh's wrist as he demo on his IG. It does not wear small.

Not necessarily. A pronounced bezel can focus the eye more on the dial, making the watch look smaller. But ultimately I agree with others, need to see it in the flesh.

Looking at some of the reports from W&W today suggests the 37mm wears larger which is good 👍

Yes the 20mm lug width keeps its wrist presence up.

I think this is the best release of the day for me.

V.keen to try one.

Very interesting and I think it looks good on the rubber.
I am on the wait list and hope to try it this weekend.
The rubber will be a good contrast to my Titanium P39.

Great looking watch but I struggle wearing a sports watch that small on my wrist.

My thoughts exactly although it’s the steel bracelet for me.

How are you getting on with your P39?? I love mine - it’s getting the most wrist time out of my watches. The dimensions and lack of weight are 👌

Likes: Size, dial, lollipop seconds hand, non-visible tubed crown
Dislikes: Small crown, dainty hour and minute hand, non graduated bezel, long lugs

Instead of this, I wish they brought tfit clasp to bb58

I love my P39. So easy to wear for me, with a smaller wrist it’s just perfect.
The bracelet on the 54 for me with the rivets is a little too vintage for my taste and the rubber will offer some variety.
As I say I hope to see it at the weekend and take some photos.
I have a good relationship with AD so hope I won’t need to wait long..
