Question about president bracelet

Hello everyone, I have a question for you. Is the coronet on the bracelet itself or the clapse. Seems pretty obvious to me but I was at another store in the diamond district yesterday and they were selling (what they say is) a rolex bracelet with no watch. It just had a diamond filled plate attached. The clapse didn't have rolex markings other than the coronet. They said the bracelet was a true rolex bracelet with aftermarket diamond plate and clapse. They also stated that the coronet is attached to the bracelet. They kept trying to convince me of this but it just didn't make sense to me. I tried comparing it to my president bracelet on my DD and noticed that their coronet was also larger. Then he told me its a bracelet and has never been on a watch. I would really like you guys input on this one. Thanks.

A picture would be good :-)

The coronet is on the bracelet where it meets the clasp. If you don't have a photo, then you could google pics of day dates and see if the coronet is the same as the one you've seen. However, you're taking a risk if you buy it as you have no way of knowing it's actually genuine. Rolex doesn't sell bracelets by itself, so how is there one for sale that's never been on a watch? The fact that it's got 'aftermarket' parts is another potential alarm bell. If you are not 100% sure, then I'd pass.

Thanks a lot. You guys saved me as I almost became a victim. The bracelet looks something like this one. http://www.limitedwatches.net/IMAGES...158_detail.jpg
