Is there a difference in the quality of bracelet finishing between 15300 and 15510?

Looking to pick up the 15300st and trying hard to find one in non polished condition. The main reason why I’m looking for AP is the bracelet finishing, the light play described as a “disco ball” by some. I haven’t had the chance to hold the 15300 but is the quality of bracelet finishing the same as the newer references (16200st, 15510, 26715) etc or is it more muted?

I believe the finishing is virtually the same. The difference is in the taper and thickness (15510 has larger chamfers and thinner links; 15300 is beefier.)

I have no information on the quality of finishing, but the 15510 had a number of subtle tweaks to bevels etc to further enhance the "disco ball" effect vs the 15500 and older editions.

It is not easy finding a 15300st that is mint, unpolished due to it being discontinued many years ago. You may be able to find one refinished by AP, and like Rolex I do not really trust ones that have been refinished by a 3rd party unless they are the expert in that brand.

Overall the quality of bracelet on the 15300 is very high, but may differ from the 15510 as far as dimensions, thickness etc. since AP changed it up a bit. As far as I know, even to this day it takes about 10 hours to hand finish one RO bracelet so quality will not be bad on either!
