WG Pepsi vs. SS Pepsi (current models)
Would love to get viewpoints on posters who have owned both, considered both, or simply have a perspective.
1. Which one, if price is not really an issue? 2. How different does the WG model feel on the wrist? More comfortable or less comfortable? More balanced or less balanced? 3. How much more durable is SS over WG? 4. Blue dial on the WG model or black dial on the SS model?

1- 99% of people will always say gold if price isn’t an issue, just being honest

Blue dial because it is so unique. Will be a future grails for many.
Between WG or SS, the choice for me would be between the new movement or the precious metal.

I believe that all current Pepsi models have the new movement - both the WG and the SS one.

Hi Roger,
I have tried the WG on several times but never owned it, regardless I'll give you my thoughts as I've seen the PM in both black and blue dial versions and I own the SS BLRO. Most of my observations are centered around the bracelet differences as there's no arguing PM vs SS IMO. First, I prefer the black dial regardless of the metal. For some reason I felt the blue didn't "pop" as much as the black". YMMV As for the the jubilee bracelet it really is what makes this reference for me at least. It looks amazing, and provides superior comfort to the Oyster bracelet IMO. In a world of Oyster bracelets why not add something different to your collection. It also doesn't show scratches like the polished centers links will (something I didnt care for during my ownership of the BLNR. Again, YMMV. Obviously the WG has a different feel on the wrist and the hue of the metal is different too. One could argue its a relative bargain compared to gray prices on the SS, but perhaps we will see them come down. Knowing you, I'm sure you can pick one up at your ADS so price really isn't in the equation as you said Tough call Roger, but if it were me. I'd go SS just for something a little different. |

Own both (WG has black dial). SS version feels like a flimsy toy by comparison.

Have owned all versions except meteor dial. I personally prefer PM over SS, and I love both the blue dial & black dial. I don’t find comfort a factor that’d make a difference, if choosing between SS or PM.
That said....if you put the SS, WG blue dial, & WG black dial in front of me and said pick....I’d choose the WG, but the dial color between blue or black would only depend on if we’re adding to a collection, or as a single watch. Although that jubilee bracelet is an absolute favorite of mine as well, and it looks so good with the Pepsi (IMO). I recently let go a couple GMT pieces, and the WG Pepsi was one of them, but I do have the SS blro in the collection still, so no regrets and I’m very happy with it. I may pick up the WG again in the future, but waiting to see if the YG version comes out again in the next couple years. |

I'll take the minority opinion here. The GMT for me is a travel watch, and while both are Rolexes, in dicier parts of the world where I'm still willing to wear a Rolex, I'd definitely want SS over Gold. Plus peace of mind as a beater because SS is more durable to deep dings vs WG. (but hey, if you told me WG pepsi was 9k MSRP, I guess who am I to say no and buy 2x for a backup minty fresh one rather than 1x SS at gray prices)

I prefer the black dial for either one.
The jubilee bracelet is more comfortable in my opinion. The weight of PM definitely feels more special and substantial. I could go either way on this one. Sorry. I'll end in saying my SS definitely gets more wear. |

I actually find the jubilee much less comfortable than the oyster and would no doubt choose the blue dialed WG version

For me, the differences in the appearance and weight of the watch simply do not warrant the significant cost difference for WG or PT vs SS.
Although I would never buy a WG or a PT watch, I would certainly wear one...if it were gifted to me. |

I prefer the WG version because :
- Precious metal - Oyster bracelet - Blue dial |
