Any way of ignoring a forum section so it doesn't show in new posts?

Hi there. I would like to 'ignore' a forum section "Classifieds", is that possible? On other forums I have seen there is an option to 'ignore' a section so that posts do not show in the New Posts section, which for the Classified section is annoying due to how many there are. However, I cannot see any option like that on this forum. Many thanks for confirming either way. :)

There is no option for that, but I can't see how it is anyway invasive, just don't look at those forums.

It's invasive because you can't avoid them when you click the "New Posts" function (which is a common way many people browse forums). The New Posts feed is for example now completely full of For Sale posts by OCROLEXGUY.

Most forums have an "ignore section" feature... I guess its purposefully disabled on this forum to ensure we see the grey market dealer posts?

The best part about employing the New Post feed, which I use every visit, is that it's so easy to scroll past any thread you want to read. It IS the "ignore" option.

You can’t ignore a forum, but you can ignore a person

Hmm maybe this would work if I add the main grey market sellers to it, thanks for the idea!

It would be an improvement if all sales posts were excluded from the ‘new posts’ link.

The sales threads are now represented three times for the boutique sellers and twice for the general sellers.

If I want to buy a watch I know where to find them on TRF.

Watch adverts are clogging up the watch talk.
