Dangerous 9 strap for my Hulk

Looking to add a touch of leather to my Hulk and happened upon this leather strap. Looks great, delivery takes a while and it's not cheap but I really like the look.

If you like it, that's what matters!
Personally I do not care for a Rolex on a strap.

Definitely unique and should be nice to wear in the fall with that color palette.

Have to be honest, I think that looks awful

Hulk is best on bracelet. I know this is subjective, just giving my opinion

That looks fantastic. Love the heavy duty leather and shape around the lugs. Looks like a quality strap

dont understand the design reasoning for cutting the stitching to put in that text.

Don't have it yet as it will take 20 weeks to receive.

But here's some from the blog post:

The leather is actually made from old Swiss ammo pouches

The bands are made from leather ammo pouches from 1960s and before. He's got some really old ones from as far back as late 19th century.

The text is the makers mark from the original ammo pouch.

Here's an example

I also have custom made straps for my hulk, it usually looks best on the bracelet, but what the heck, it's cool to change it up a bit at times. Looking good and the type of leather is unique, very nice.

John from D9 is not just a “strap maker”, he is a strap artist.

Leather or rubber straps are not a good look on a Hulk in my opinion, only the original bracelet. If you like to play with straps get the Speedmaster or Longines Legend Diver

Great strap, Very cool watch. Just not together for me. The Rolex Hulk does and always will look best on the OEM bracelet to me.

I have a thing about divers on leather, seems contradictory to me. I also have an appreciation for ammo straps, particularly that one, and own many. Both Hulk and strap are lovely, I just don’t enjoy them together but that’s purely my personal bias. I’m glad you do.

Kevin summed up my point of view nicely.

I never take mine off bracelet, but that strap looks solid on it, especially with the stitching. Nice change of pace option.

I understand the pause by some on the pairing…

Perhaps If we accept the fact that the vast majority of divers may never see more water than hand washing , the contradiction of leather and diver may be resolved?

Paul Newman did it with his Daytona :)

that is a beautiful strap I would wear on my Panerai, but I prefer my Hulk on the oyster. Tastes vary so if you love it then

Yeah I love scuba diving and all, but currently reside on the great plains. Water isn't a big concern for any of my watches.
