Icon6 The Gratuitous "Every Day is Vintage Day" Photo Thread

It doesn't matter what day or date it is, wrist-shot or otherwise. It must only be vintage. And Rolex. I'll kick off with this one; let's see some more, please!

Everyday my 1680 Sub-Dweller!! I put my Admiralty Nato on for the holidays, and love it. I think the oyster will stay tucked away for a little while.

Neither do I - stunning.

Also, thanks re the 1675. If you can, get one; they are beautiful and quite different from the Subs, although similar too…

What a beauty - this is already an awesome thread, thanks for sharing guys.
Keep them coming, chaps.

BTW, I love NATOs, they are so practical, comfortable, easy to change… and inexpensive. They look cool too.

A real old beauty also, thanks for sharing Marcello. I have a gold Heuer chrono from 1942.

Thanks Vincent - by the way, noticed that you have some stunning NATOs - your meters first with the grey admirality strap - gorgeous. Would you mind letting me know where you get your NATOs?

Thanks, although my 1680 is f-first.

The grey NATO I currently use on it is from 'Crown & Buckle' - it has stitched fastenings for the metal parts, which have black (PVD) coating, if that's the one you mean...

I also buy nylon straps from Gnomon.

I think both those suppliers are excellent. I have owned a couple of 'Phoenix' admiralty grey straps, and, although I really love the colour, I have found the quality to be a little under par (both the buckle and the weave in the nylon), and the holes/spacing is not right for my wrist-size.
