Glycine Airman

Hello

I've just seen one of these watches on a TV program. I've never seen one before or heard of the make. Can anyone give me any information about this make and model please, I quite like the look of it?

Thanks very much.

The Glycine Airman goes way back, and was among the first multi-timezone watches. Here's a fun little IG post showing how Rolex got to the EXPII bezel via Glycine and Seiko.

always loved the Airman never pulled the trigger.
as stated above there is great history behind the 24 hours watch made by Glycine way back in time.

Thanks very much for this Adam.

The Airman is different to the other watches I have, I’ll have to read up on it and learn more. I quite like the Seiko in the attachment as well.

So many watches, so little time!

All nice watches.

Reminds me of Led Zeppelin…

They may not have been the original but their version was just better.

The Airman is still in production.

And caution, there are decent fakes of the older models.
