Sub 41 vs GMT lug-to-lug dif.
Hi everyone,
I currently own a sub 41 LV and I feel that it wears much larger vs. the GMT BLNR. Except from the diameter, do you know what is their lug-to-lug difference? Thanks |

optical illusion or proportions of other things on the watch. I do know bracelet is 1mm wider on 41mm Sub
Sub 126610 - 47.6mm GMT 126710 - 48mm I have both, they wear similar to me. Visually, i find the BLNR to be larger. I think it's because of bezel font. |

I own both. Any measurements from lug to lug or wherever will vary depending on who operates the calipers
In real world wear I think the 124060 wears slightly larger than the 126710. Perhaps because of the caseback profile and it is slightly larger in diameter YMMV |

I feel like my Sub wears slightly larger than my GMT mostly because of the Oyster vs Jubilee bracelet. My DJ41 wears smaller than both.
But the biggest difference comes from my Seamaster. That wears noticeably larger than all the above. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have a BLRO and have had the Sub 41. I felt the Sub wore larger on my smaller wrist.

Sub 41 and BLNR oyster owner - the 41mm wears larger to me also bc it is. The glide lock, the thicker bracelet, the larger dial (albeit only 0.3mm) all contribute to the overall larger feel I think. At the end of the day they are both basically the same size watch however. Not too much different.

You might find this video of interest. It compares the GMT to the Sub 41. Hafiz makes some really good videos. Super granular with measurements.

Same L2L, did not measure with any precise instrument apart from just putting them next to one another.

However, when both are on oyster bracelets, Sub can initially seem larger due to glidelock clasp. After wearing both for same period on and off, my conclusion is they also feel the same on the wrist, providing you dial in the proper bracelet sizing. |

Like the majority of others it seems, for me the 41 Sub wears bigger than the 11 series GMT. I think the 12 series uses the same case? I do think the 41 wears slightly better as a trade off though due to the proportions.
There really isn’t enough in it to be a concern either way IMO. |

Nothing noticeable. The Sub bracelet is slightly wider and the GMT sits just a bit lower on the wrist from the slimmer caseback.

I think it is the bracelet on the 124060 that gives it a look that is slightly larger for me.

Although very similar dimensions, I also find subs to wear larger but I think the appearance is due to the case back being thicker on the sub.

Yes, same exact experience for me. The protruding case back of the sub causes it to sit up higher. The GMT case back is closer to being flush with the case. The oyster bracelet is great and definitely not uncomfortable in any way, but the jubilee is a step above when it comes to comfort and disappearing on the wrist.

I never notice the GMT fitting more flush on my wrist than the Sub. Maybe something is wrong with me. lol
I do think the GMT wears smaller. I think the biggest reason is the jubilee vs the oyster bracelet. But I suppose if you have a GMT on the oyster, then that obviously becomes a moot point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
