Which GMT 1675 dial is this?
I have read over the differences in dials, but am not really sure which dial is in my GMT Master 1675. Any experts want to enlighten me? Is there anything special about this dial or the Pepsi bezel insert? Thanks!

As watches became older, with service, the original production dials were no longer available so the later production dials (such as the Mk-5/6 or any of the known service dials) were put in place..

THANKS folks. That's kinda what I thought, but wanted to be certain. The original dial to my watch would be... Mk I? Mk II? Mk III?

No comments on the insert?
This is a first for me - so much serif, I mean. |

With that gap to the crystal it could be a 16700/16710 insert!

Font looks too thick and the huge serif I have never seen before....I’d have to go aftermarket but not sure. Definitely never seen a 16710 or 16700 with font that thick

2.59 million serial should be a Mark I dial.

So, it might be aftermarket. I'm not sure either. I acquired the watch around year 2000, so am not the original owner. Since we've established it has a service dial, the bezel insert might have been changed as well. FWIW, back when I was actively collecting (late 1980's - 2003), these little things didn't matter much (as long as they weren't fake). Things like the all red 24 hour hand, the long "E", a "Bart Simpson" coronet were not even mentioned or "a thing" to any collector I knew back then. It's funny how things change and little differences become big differences as time marches on. |

Super fat font below, and a combination photo with a fat font black, fat font fuchsia and the super fat font "Pepsi."
