TRADE QUESTION - would you trade a deepsea for a bluesy submariner?
Hi everyone,
I have a simple question here. Would you trade a 2019 126660 deepsea for a 2015 116613LB both in like new condition? I currently own the deepsea but I’ve always wanted a bluesy. Not sure how the bluesy would be as a daily wear like my deepsea is. If anyone owns one I would like to hear their experience ! |

I've been wearing my Bluesy daily during a couple of weeks after purchase. Now I treat it more like a special occasion watch, when I dress up and go out. Being my favourite watch I don't feel like using it like a beater, basically.

I wear mine every day. 24/7. I looks stunning in t-shirt and board shorts, with boots and jeans and everything in between. It is an eye catcher though, I have gotten more compliments in 5 months than most say they’ve gotten in 30 yrs. Just wear it and enjoy it confidently, the submariner will handle most anything you can throw at it.
I would not trade though. I’d keep deep sea and pick up Bluesy if it was calling me that badly. |

Yes, I have both and bluesy is flashy/fun! But only if not your only watch

For me 1000000000% I would
The DeepSea is just way too big and thick for my liking. To add to that the Bluesy looks miles better with that Sunburst dial and Blue/Gold combo. |

I own them both. If I had to get rid of one it would be the Bluesy. The Bluesy is just not an every day wear for me. There are plenty of times I find myself just not wanting that “flash”. The DSSD JC could be worn all the time. Really the only time the DSSD is awful is with a dress shirt.

That will change over time. I’ve had my Nautilus for a couple of years and now it gets treated like any other watch in my collection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah, I see what you mean but I'm kind of different when it comes to my luxury pieces. I've worn a YM for the past 6 years almost and I still treat it as a dressy watch except for the few times I swam with it. I mostly wear it when I dress up and go out, just like the Bluesy. The main reason is I don't want to ever have them polished.

Both are fine watches and it comes down to personal preference and what else you have in your collection.

As long as you don't mind the flash factor, go for it.

I don't have a bluesy but I do have a 126660 JC and LVc. Love both but simply due to size being better for me, the Deep Sea sees the wrist time.

I couldn't part with my Deepsea.
The LB is a great looking watch with a dressier look but other than the fact that they are both divers, very different watches. |

Interesting, value wise not a bad trade if it's simply a Dssd, not a JC. I have a DSSD now and I used to have a bluesy, would I do that trade?...
Maybe. I've got my AD looking for the new bluesy and if I get the call I will need to make a choice as I would have to get rid of something to justify it. I guess I'll deal with it when I get the call... Good luck OP! Sent from my SM-N986U1 using Tapatalk |

Yes I would trade- mainly because the deep sea doesn’t fit my wrist
