Are RM movements actually bad?
I think highly of RMs for their producing watches of interesting materials and also the technology behind the watches (like being lightweight, or super thin) but are the movements really that bad? I don’t see this mentioned much and just ran into this topic when I watched ProducerMicahel videos.

they are made by AP&R - essentially producing movements for AP Concepts as well technologically advanced movements. reliability, not so sure, never own one long enough to know

They also have an in-house movement, IE RM72. They are moving more towards in-house movements, which IMO, at these prices should be demanded. I've owned several RMs now, never had a single issue with reliability and I wore/traveled/swam with them often. Some are quite the engineering feat, like the cable suspended tourb movement.
