My latest 1601

Got this datejust off a friend I buy a lot of my watches from. I think it's going to fall into beater, or tool watch category. The old jubilee is marked 2 67 and I can only surmise the watch is of that era, hopefully a 1966. I can't say with certainty of the year because the spring bars are so tight, I can't remove the bracelet. So I need to see how I bond with it and will wear it as is and decide if it goes to Rikki after owning it awhile. Here are a couple pictures I just made tonight. Please let me know what you Gents think? It's going to need a proper cleaning and service for sure if I retain it. Thanks for looking

Nice pie pan dial - clean her up and she will look great on your wrist. Maybe try a vintage leather strap.

I have a Jed strap in gray leather Russ, only I doubt I can enjoy it because I've encountered my first ever, truly seized and immovable spring bars. Tried all ticks and I think I will see if it is possible to drill them out without damage to case. Is there even a drill made so thin? But anyway I held Jed's strap near it and I'm not happy I can't put it on
Here is another picture.
And one is of poor puppy after her fix Poor thing.

Here is a clearer picture of the watch. You can see it needs a real pro cleaning. What are thoughts of dial? I feel is genuine. It first very silver 1601 I have owned. Other ones from the past were more champagne color and blue. Miss the blue!
