Extension link

Hi guys,

Has anybody tried this on?
https://steel-reef.com/pages/rolex-extension-link

There is also a video about it:

P.S.
Padi, you do not have to open the links.

They are out of stock for the 16570 that I have but I’m interested and would also like to hear from someone who has tried one.

The reviews seem good

I got it for my Tudor BB GMT and it works just like the Rolex EasyLink. I signed up to be notified when they have the link for the 16750 in stock again.

They have reserve orders, now, for half links for a 124270. I'm in. Supposed to be available soon.

A few pics. For the 14060m I removed the diver extension and replaced it with the Steel Reef link. Simple conversion. Never used the diver extension anyway

These look great. The Rolex part number for oyster/sub was B32-20193-D1.

Here is my old post about it:

Great that the OEM link fits. Only issue is where to get it!

This is on 16520.
I had to buy an extra link from WOS. Firstly because when it’s closed it comes a half link short, secondly RSC could not sell/fit one since it had an aftermarket part on it. [IMG]

I bought an Easy link for a 114270, on the recommendation of another user of the forum... it's on the way.. but it seems that they work very well...

It’s awesome. I started wearing my vintage and neo vintage more because of this.

Steel Reef 16570 half link

I always thought this was a great idea, but didn't need one until purchasing a 16570 polar. My 14060M from the same era fits fine, but this Explorer II never seated the way I desired. So, I took advantage of Steel Reef having inventory and a discount promo code to see if this would make a difference. It did. The watch is seated more in the center of my arm/wrist and the fit is snug, so as not to jostle around. Prior to inserting the Steel Reef link, I had the bracelet attached to the second hole from the end on the clasp. Now, I have the Steel Reef link in the first hole of the clasp with the link engaged to the half position. This is a 1999 16570 Explorer II. I appreciate that we are talking millimeters here, but sometimes that makes all the difference. It has for me. YMMV.

The take up for the half link snaps positively and securely in place. The finish is virtually the same as the Rolex bracelet (I really can't tell a difference, though others have). Here are a few shots of it in place. Hope this is helpful to anyone considering this product.

I have one on my 16570. It got here at the same time as a heat wave, and it’s been worth every penny.
