Unpolished DateJust?

Saw this on Instagram by a local seller. Seller says it's unpolished.

Does the case and clasp appear unpolished?

Not only has it been polished, it's been overpolished. Just look at the lug holes.

The edge of the bezel is also soft. BTW, it would be more conventional to call this a Turnograph than a DateJust.

Thanks everyone. I pointed out to the seller it's been polished, and he insists it's not. He still has "unpolished" on the listing. I will look elsewhere (with vintage reputable sellers) for an unpolished example.

You are right. A Turnograph is a more common term with these models.

Why would you bother arguing with the seller, especially if you're not interested in buying it. Move on.

What are telltale signs of over polishing? I see the lug holes look a little oval, and the case looks a bit weathered. Are we just looking for sharp edges?

I'm looking to get back into the Rolex game, love vintage models, but unsure what to look for with regards to the amount of polishing.
