Pics from this past weekends Toronto GTG

I figure I would post them here since I have selected mostly Rolex related pics from my good friend Joel's report. All the credit for these wonderful pics goes to Joel.

First off, why is it that someone always has a camera handy when I act like an idiot. Man I really do look like that MIB Bug guy in this pic...

our good friend Pete here. SS Sub for life!!!!

Seadweller put to the test

Daytona with a very nice GO, those big dates are really nice.

Never leave home without it....

Now for some more watch shots.

Now here is a SS Chrono that puts my daytona to shame, what a gorgeous watch. There is a funny story to this, as we were ordering lunch somebody asked if there was a Watch menu. Of course being the smart ass I am I said yes and called the owner to bring me a Overseas Chrono for dessert (Its all Laurance Yaps fault for showing me the latest issue of watchtime where the watch was in an Ad) sure enough the owner came by his restaurant shortly after (he was at his watch store earlier) and I fell in love, I didnt want to give it back. I must get one one day, but I think I want a new one with the new bracelet.

Excellent pictorial, Roger. Yes, the VC is a superb watch, especially the bracelet which is like armour plated steel!!!

Thanks for the tour!

Hmmm, armour plate is made of steel, so you are saying it's like steel plated steel?

Don't you mean mano a mano a sheepo? It would be a 3-way conversation. To JJ, sheep are like an Amex card - he doesn't leave home without one!

Yes you did shock me!!!!

But I wasnt too worried since it was only our crew with us, and that is why these meets have to be invite only. Newbies must have someone that will vouche for them.

Great pics, Roger. That VC is one smokin' watch. I can see why all of a sudden it's shot up to the top of everyone's wish list. It's certainly made it to mine.

Sorry to say, but I don't feel the love for the VC, I just don't like the bracelet. I prefer the newer one because of the Maltese cross bracelet, but I will agree thw clasp is a winner on the old one. I just think the bracelet and case on the old one are just too "ordinary". Nevertheless, it is still very beautiful.
