My guess is, not a chance. Only Rolex knows, though. It hasn't changed much for 30 years. With the exception of a new dial, SEL, and no lugs holes, it has stayed the same.

Some wonder if it will adopt the new changes like the GMT. Solid center links, maxi dial, and new clasp.

If they do change, it won't be for a while.

it won't change in my opinion. In fact I think it will be the last of the Sports models to undergo a facelft.

I believe the new GMT II is a Rolex response to the new trend for big watches. They will take a few years to evaluate it I think.

Any changes that Rolex would make would be showcased at Bazel next year, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I believe that it will probably get the maxi dial eventually

At some point I do to. History as they say repeats itself.

I would love it if Rolex put the LV dial and hands on the classic black Sub. JMO. That would probably finally make me jump on my first Rolex.

I can't accept how ugly the LV Sub is, the green bezel makes it look cheap and tacky. (Crouches on ground, waiting for hand grenades and flamethrowers my way)

I also think the maxi-dial is in the cards. But who knows when?

The SS Sub-date is the icon in the entire Rolex sports line-up. I see no reason why Rolex should change a winning combination!!

If it's a 16610, it will sell....always!!

Well would doubt if any major changes to the Sub will happen,if it ain't broke why fix it.This policy has worked well for Rolex for over 30 years, and they still sell all they can make
