Chromalight looks Green … until it doesn’t. Let’s see some Lume shots!

I was wearing my Sub Date (11 series) today and did a double take when I was in a low light part of my house. The lume looked Green to me, even though I knew it to be a Chromalight reference.

After some piddling out of boredom/curiosity, I realized Chromalight is a “healthy” Blue when you compare it to earlier gen Rolex models without it (e.g., Super LumiNova).

Random musing and really a solicitation to see some good lume shots. Please share!

I could be wrong … but wasn’t there a brief period, where Chromalight lume was in fact green and then it switched over to blue?

No. I've got a really bad one (under UV), a not so good one, a middling one and an OK one.
