Bracelet Squeak Help
Hey everyone, I have a Submariner 124060 that I’ve had over a year now (purchased September 2023). This watch has been my grail watch since I saw Sean Connery wear one in Goldfinger when I was a kid. It’s my daily wearer and the only watch in my collection. However, my bracelet has a loud squeak if I move my arm a certain way or shake my wrist. I’ve read multiple places that the squeak only lasts while the watch is new and will eventually fade away. I’ve also washed it several times with soap and it helps but only for a day or so.
Is this something that I should let an AD look at or is it just the nature of the oyster bracelet? I figured it would have stopped squeaking after a year of constant wear but maybe I’m wrong. This is my first Rolex but I do not remember the Tudor’s I had before this having bracelets that squeaked as much. Thanks for any insight or advice! |

The squeaks normally dissipate fairly quickly... perhaps try removing the bracelet and pop it in an ultrasonic cleaner for a few minutes? Or take the watch to the AD and let them do it?
