Switched the black to blue strap on Patek 5164

Seems to fit pretty well. Figured I’d share a pic:

Works well!

Dial is not true black, goes either way.

I recently made the change as well but not sure if I like the 5650 blue which seems to match the day night indicators better, at least seems good for a summer color for now in the sun!

Wait...

Straps from 5164 will fit the 5167 and vice versa or will not fit?

The 5164 case is thicker so the strap won't fit the thinner 5167 case. I don't know if 5167 strap will fit the 5164, but if so, not properly as it sits below the case. The straps use two alignment pins in the face of the strap ends that fit into corresponding holes in the side of the case and I'm not sure if they have different vertical positions relative to case height.

Just got my light blue strap delivered today from HSWA and I love the color in person! Off to the boutique this weekend to get it cut and put on. Thanks jcarm981 for posting about this.

How are people getting the 5164G blue strap? I inquired at my AD and they said that strap color was not yet available to order from Patek. Are they misinformed?
