Rolex gmt master ii pepsi change to rootbeer 2-tone

Hi, I just sold my GMT Master II Pepsi and am going to buy Root Beer 2-Tone because the price for resale is closer to AD Shop. In my opinion, it's more reasonable than Pepsi. What do you guys think? Am I making the right decision or not in terms of the look and the future price?

if you want the Root ever than get it but long term the Pepsi has held it’s value better. Nothing to say that will be true in the future but that’s what the past tells us.

Good choice, Pepsi is dull and root beer is a great looking watch, unless Pepsi was Mark 1 2018 - then you’re a plonker …

I have both. I purchased the chnr first then got a blro. Personally, I like to match my watches with my clothes and because I wear a lot of earth tones, I seem to always wear my root beer. But I do wear my blro in the winter when wearing darker blues and greys.

If I had to choose and it was purely for my own happiness and not showing off (hate that I have to state this but that’s part of collecting for some people) I’d choose the chnr two tone for sure.

I have both, including the new GRNR but i hardly wear it. For me, the occasion determines which watch i wear. I wear the root beer more often than the pepsi but they both serve their purpose. I think you should try the CHNR

Buy the watch you like.

Getting a watch just because it may be more popular on Forums is not a sensible criterion for enjoyment of your purchase.

Personally, I think that the TT black GMT and Sub Date are the best-looking watches that Rolex ever produced.

You will regret it. Just buy the CHNR TT. Build a strong collection.
