Opinion on 7021/0

Hi, am wondering if there is anything major red flags regarding this Tudor snowflake. Just need some opinions on the dial, hands, bezel. The lume looks a bit greenish? Perhaps due to moisture damage? TIA

I think I've actually come across this watch in person when I was looking to buy a 7021, and was able to see it more closely. The lume was all original with the correct reactions under UV but yeah the dial did look "washed" or maybe worked on a little by a watchmaker in the past. No dial chips/ bubbling which I saw too.

Other than that, insert is correct (and very nicely faded if I might add), bracelet is a later 78500 tudor clasp bracelet. Case seemed lightly polished but still nice. The crown was the period twinlock crown (Correct for the period i think? Not the later triplock crowns)

Overall was a nice watch but passed on it because of what I felt at the time a slightly steep price and the dial not looking too appealing to me in person (something about the "faded" markers made them look a little more faint than I liked). Btw this was all at a really reputable watchmaker's shop, so had a rather nice viewing experience and little worries about authenticity.

Note: Not an expert so do take my opinion with a pinch of salt! Happy shopping!

The watch looks legit. Pearl might be aftermarket.

Not a fan of the color of the plots.

Legit, but dirt not patina....

I have no database, so just anecdotal, but I'm of opinion some of the blue dials (esp 9411/0) that look this fresh eg even blue (no puckering/volcano/pock-marks and very white writing) were fitted later in late 70s/80's as service items.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I think it's the same watch. The tudor clasp is a later dated one. I haven't had the chance to check in person the previous time while I was at the store.
I agree the price is a little steep. I am flying in tomorrow to send in a watch to restore so gonna take a look at it in detail this time. Maybe since it's been sitting there for a while can discuss on their asking price..haha.

noted on the feedbacks. I read somewhere that the 7021 dial under microscope should have greenish specks. the 94410 has a more blue dial.

Looks good although the plots don’t look great

This is common and perhaps the case here. THough less likely on a later 7021 -v- earlier

Sometimes, and more earlier than later

Lovely thing! I am also of the opinion the insert pip maybe aftermarket but that's no biggie.

Does look very 'blue' but if it's a later dial; wouldn't put me off as it's all genuine.
