Vintage Seiko Lume Options?
Hi guys. So I was replacing the seals on my 6139-6000 and thought I’d see if the black gunk on the hands would come off if I rubbed lightly with a toothpick. Well, as you can see, the hour band lume just crumbled off! I know it’s discoloured but it was original. I’m bummed. Anyway, who should I turn to for redoing the lume? Should I just get the hour hand done or the minute too? What would you do?

Not uncommon on vintage watches. You can buy some lume on ebay and practice on a junk dial and hands then do it yourself. There are few guys in the US who do it but it isn't cheap.

Thanks man. That’s a great video. Dude has such a soothing voice. It sure I’ve got the balls to try it myself though.
